Getting There

LPAC is located on the corner of Diversey and Sheffield. Easily accessible by public transportation. The Diversey stop on the Brown line is right in front of the wall.

Description

LPAC features a 70 foot outdoor climbing wall that is open from May until November. Being able to climb outdoors is especially nice on those beautiful days when you don't want to be stuck inside a gym, but also couldn't make it out to an actual crag. The people there are friendly and this is a good place to work on your endurance with the tall walls. If you show up during their scheduled 'Supervised Climbing' times, then there will be someone on staff that can provide you with a belay if you don't have a partner. A single day pass is rather pricey at $20, however there are cheaper options available. You can purchase a 10 visit pass that brings it down to $15 per visit or a 20 visit pass that comes to $12 per visit.
